Cambodian Genocide Data Base
Description The Cambodian Genocide Data Base (CGDB), which contains bibliographic (from 2,000 primary and secondary documents), biographic (military and political leaders and victims), photographic (prisoner mug shots) and geographic information (maps of grave pits, prisons, and victim memorials), was developed by Yale University and the University of New South Wales, in Sydney, Australia. It contains a suite of information pertaining to the Cambodian Khmer Rouge regime of 1975 to 1979 and much information is focused on "S-21," also known as the Tuol Sleng Prison, which was the headquarters of the Khmer Rouge secret police.
